Haider Haimus Appointed National Security Sector President at Edgewater

Haider Haimus has been appointed president of national security sector at Edgewater Federal Solutions.

The enterprise IT, cybersecurity and systems engineering company said Haimus will lead its national security portfolio, overseeing its strategic direction, operations and expansion. He will be responsible for supporting clients in law enforcement, homeland security and intelligence communities while driving growth, fostering innovation and enhancing program delivery.

Who Is Haider Haimus?

Haimus is an industry veteran of 24 years with a proven track record in federal sales, operations and strategic growth. The new Edgewater executive was most recently with Amazon Web Services for over three years as the principal account manager for the U.S. Department of State and Office of Personnel Management. In this role, Haimus spearheaded business development and client relations with the State Department, OPM and other federal agencies. 

Before joining AWS, Haimus spent five years at Accenture, where he held various leadership roles, including program manager for the Department of State, client account lead for the U.S. Courts and director of business development for the Department of Justice and U.S. Courts. He also spent nearly two years at Buchanan & Edwards as the foreign affairs director.

Haimus worked at Salient CRGT for almost a decade, holding positions such as director, senior manager and senior consultant. He also held consultant and analyst roles at Deloitte and Accenture to start his career.
