Gulfstream Receives $127M Air Force C-37B Airlifter Delivery Order

Gulfstream Aerospace, a subsidiary of General Dynamics (NYSE: GD), has secured a $127.4M delivery order to provide two aircraft for the U.S. Air Force to transport top government officials to destinations around the world.

The service branch will use fiscal 2020 procurement funds to pay for C-37B order and expects to receive the airlifters by September 2021, the Department of Defense said Thursday.

Production work will take place at Gulfstream’s facility in Savannah, Ga.

C-37B is a military version of the company-built 550 aircraft.
