Guggenheim Securities Managing Director Andy McEnroe Receives 2025 Wash100 Award

Andy McEnroe, managing director at Guggenheim Securities, received the 2025 Wash100 Award from Executive Mosaic CEO Jim Garrettson.

The seasoned government investment banker was recognized with his first Wash100 accolade for his significant market insights and impactful contributions to key mergers and acquisitions in the government and defense sectors while he was still managing director of Raymond James.

The Wash100 Award annually honors 100 of the most influential figures in the government contracting sector. The awardees are chosen for their valuable achievements while recognizing their vision and potential to drive continued innovation in the industry.

“Andy has been a key player in some of the biggest GovCon M&A deals of the last year, from the sale of Iron EagleX to GDIT to Parsons’ acquisition of BlackSignal Technologies and the sale of Ridgeline International to Enlightenment Capital,” stated Garrettson, who founded the Wash100 Award in 2014.

“As managing director at Raymond James, he helped shape the future of the industry, and his work on the annual Defense & Government Conference continues to bring top minds together. We at Executive Mosaic always appreciate the insights shared there—congrats on a well-earned first Wash100 win,” continued Garrettson.

Shifting Investment Focus to Advanced Defense Technology

McEnroe highlighted a shift in government and defense spending from prioritizing counterterrorism-focused capabilities to developing artificial intelligence, cloud, cyber, electronic warfare, and other advanced technologies. The executive led Raymond James in providing investment insights to federal and defense agencies, focusing on leveraging these advanced innovations to enhance national security capabilities.

In addition, McEnroe played key roles in several investments and M&A deals, including the Blue Delta Capital Partners’ $25 million investment in Herrick Technology Laboratories last April and the Kratos Defense and Security Solutions’ $345 million follow-on equity offering. The managing director was also instrumental in OceanSound Partners’ acquisition of Antenna Research Associates in October.

Congratulations to Andy McEnroe for his first Wash100 Award.
