The General Services Administration has awarded nine GSA Leasing Support Services Plus contracts to six companies across four geographic zones to provide leasing and broker support services for the agency’s lease contracting personnel.
"GLS Plus will offer the federal government efficiencies gained through virtual market tours, and cost savings with our new pre- and post- award services through robust management of requirements development and tenant build-out," Dan Mathews, public buildings service commissioner at GSA, said in a statement published Thursday.
GLS Plus contracts cover market surveys, inspections, negotiations, document preparation and related services. GSA expects small businesses to get broker commissions worth approximately $70M through GLS Plus and plans to award 39M square feet in task orders to brokers under the program.
Awardees for the National Capital, Northern, Southern and Western Service Areas are:
Carpenter/Robbins Commercial Real Estate
CBRE
Cushman & Wakefield US
Jones Lang LaSalle Americas
Public Properties
Savills
GSA said it will conduct this summer a virtual training session on the GLS Plus program to inform leasing officers and contractors about the contract’s performance requirements and other elements.
