The General Services Administration has awarded 16 small businesses spots on the first phase of a potential $15B, 10-year contract to provide building maintenance and operations support for federal agencies at zone 1.A FedBizOpps notice posted Tuesday says the companies will vie for task orders under the small business track of the on-ramp BMO Phase I multiple-award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract.
The BMO Phase I SB contract vehicle has a five-year base term, five option years and another six-month option to extend services and covers heating, ventilating and air conditioning; plumbing and pipefitting; electrical maintenance; janitorial; and landscaping and ground maintenance support to zone 1 federal buildings.
Zone 1 covers government spaces and assets in Washington, D.C.; Delaware; Maryland; New Jersey; New York; Pennsylvania; Virginia; and West Virginia.
