GSA Awards Three Spots on $96M Virtualization Tech Support IDIQ for US Pacific Air Forces

The General Services Administration has selected three small businesses for a potential five-year, $96M contract for virtual desktop infrastructure support to the U.S. Pacific Air Forces in Hawaii.

3IT Consulting, G.C. Associates and Galapagos will compete for fixed-price orders under the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract, GSA said in FedBizOpps notice posted Wednesday.

The program’s request for proposals document stated that the multiple-award IDIQ would involve IT engineering, design, implementation and program management support for PACAF™s virtualization system and SecureView cross-domain machine hosting platform at Joint Base Pearl Harbor Hickam.

According to a performance work statement, contractors will support PACAF™s business and end-user computing equipment designed to support command, control, communications, computers, intelligence and cyber functions.

PACAF is a U.S. Air Force component with an area of responsibility that spans 36 nations and 16 time zones. The command sought industry support to ensure continued operations in a disconnected-intermittent-low bandwidth environment. The GSA awarded the contract after an SBA 8(a) solicitation process.
