Greg Williams, most recently vice president of Chevo Consulting’s homeland security practice, has been promoted to executive VP of the management consulting firm’s homeland security and defense account.
Williams brings to the role over three decades of experience offering management advisory support to homeland, civilian and defense clients, Chevo said Tuesday.
He joined Chevo in 2017 and under his leadership, the Rockville, Maryland-based women-owned small business has delivered strategic, program, financial, grants management and project services to component agencies within the Department of Homeland Security through 30 prime contracts.
“We look forward to Greg leading the growth of our emerging Department of Defense vertical, and joining Chevo’s executive leadership team to help guide overall client delivery,” said Chevo CEO Zaina Sahady.
He previously led program and financial management services across DHS as a director at PwC. His industry career included time at BearingPoint and Coopers & Lybrand.
Williams is a certified public accountant and a certified Project Management Institute Project Management Professional.
