Caicedo announced his appointment in a LinkedIn post published Monday.
As SVP, Caicedo oversees business strategy in collaboration with product management and development teams; directs program execution across a portfolio of space missions; and manages growth initiatives, investment planning and resource allocation for space-related products and services in the federal market, according to his profile on the professional networking site.
He also works with the business development team to develop capture strategies, opportunity pipelines and proposal efforts.
He brings over three decades of experience leading teams across government, commercial and international space domains to the role. He specializes in space and ground systems acquisition, strategy development and mission delivery.
Who Is Greg Caicedo?
Before rejoining Kratos, Caicedo was director of business operations for the Space Force at Frontier Technology.
The U.S. Air Force veteran spent three years at Raytheon Intelligence and Space, where he held program management roles.
He first joined Kratos in 2012 and held several leadership roles at the company, including VP of network and data solutions and VP and general manager of SAT services.
The Florida State University graduate previously served as division manager for space domain awareness at RadiantBlue Technologies and as a senior systems engineer at Integrity Applications Inc.
