Michael Lewis, former vice president and general manager of Iron Mountain's (NYSE:IRM) government services unit, has joined Salesforce (NYSE: CRM) as VP of strategy and business development, G2Xchange FedCiv reported Monday.
He brings more than three decades of industry experience to his new position and will be responsible for Salesforce's BD efforts in the aerospace, defense and federal systems integration segments.
At Iron Mountain, Lewis has led the data center services provider's information management offerings for the federal government over the past five years.
His other previous roles included senior principal for federal health agencies at General Dynamics’ (NYSE: GD) information technology business, and VP and general manager for government health care accounts at Siemens and General Electric (NYSE: GE).
Lewis held sales management roles at GE and IBM (NYSE: IBM) earlier in his career.
