Bill Parker
Bill Parker, a 25-year government information technology veteran and president of Parker Strategic, has been named chief strategist at Sevatec.
Parker will help the leadership team develop and execute the Fairfax, Virginia-based technology services contractor’s strategic plan, Sevatec said Monday.
“His managerial experience and leadership successes have been invaluable to me and will continue to support our firm’s transformation during this new era of government contracting,†said Sonny Kakar, founder and CEO of Sevatec.
Parker previously served as chief operating officer at Salient Federal Solutions, which now operates as Salient CRGTÂ following the merger in 2015.
He worked at NCI (Nasdaq: NCIT) as CIO and held president roles at Karta Technologies, KForce Government Services and Pinkerton Computer Consultants’ government solutions division.
The U.S. Navy veteran served as president and CEO of Crosswalk.com and as an executive vice president at CACI International (NYSE: CACI).
Parker currently serves as a board member of the Professional Services Council.
