Global PCCI has secured a potential $250M contract to help the U.S. Navy manage a system for maintaining equipment for salvage, diving, pollution response and underwater ship husbandry activities.
The company will support management of facilities that utilize the Emergency Ship Salvage Material system under the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract, the Department of Defense said Friday.
Work will take place at various locations worldwide over a five-year period that runs through January 2024.
The Navy received one proposal for the contract via a competitive procurement process on FedBizOpps and will obligate $5K in fiscal 2019 operations and maintenance funds at the time of award.
Global was established in 1964 as joint venture between Atlas Corp. and Owl International.
