A joint venture between GiaCare and MedTrust has won a potential five-year, $219M contract to provide registered nursing services to the U.S. Army. The Army Health Contracting Activity received two bids for the firm-fixed-price contract via the internet, the Department of Defense said Thursday.
DoD expects the JV to complete services by Sept. 30, 2024. Both Giacare and MedTrust offer medical staffing services. The former built its foundation on servicing government-owned medical facilities, while the latter caters to both private and public sectors.
