Georgie Brophy, former director of strategic growth at General Dynamics' (NYSE: GD) mission systems business, has joined Noblis as director of business development for the nonprofit's space systems portfolio.
Her government contracting industry career has included senior leadership positions in areas such as business management and development, client relations and strategy, Noblis said Wednesday.
Brophy returned to General Dynamics Mission Solutions in 2018 after service as director of space infrastructure and civil programs within SSL's government systems unit. She initially joined GDMS in late 2011 as senior manager of BD and supported its NASA and military communications business in that capacity.
She also held a 12-year career at Booz Allen Hamilton (NYSE: BAH) and worked as a consultant at International Technology Mangement and Omitron, where she managed work on NASA Space Shuttle operations under the Goddard Space Flight Center’s Hitchhiker Program.
