Geoffrey Thome Promoted to Serco Inc. VP of Cloud & Networks

Geoffrey Thome was elevated to the role of vice president of cloud and networks at Serco Group‘s U.S. business arm, where the information technology leader previously worked as director for over a year.

He announced his Serco Inc. VP appointment in a LinkedIn post and will report to the chief information officer of the IT service management company.

Thome brings to Serco nearly a decade of program management experience at Science Applications International Corp. (NYSE: SAIC). His previous responsibilities at SAIC include providing support services under the Marine Corps Enterprise IT Services system integrator contract and assisting the Department of Transportation.

Prior to joining the industry, Thome was with the U.S. Marine Corps. He served as chief operational architect and information management advocate and information management officer at the service branch for several years.
