A business unit of General Dynamics (NYSE: GD) has received a potential five-year, $170 million task order to help the Defense Intelligence Agency secure enterprise intelligence systems and networks being used by DIA, combatant commands and other U.S. military agencies.
General Dynamics said Thursday its information technology business will provide cybersecurity engineering, threat fusion and incident detection and response services to DIA.
The unit won the task order through DIA’s Enhanced Solutions for the Information Technology Enterprise contract vehicle.
Work will occur in in the National Capitol, Pacific and Northeast regions, Virginia, Hawaii and the U.K.
General Dynamics is one of 25 companies awarded spots under the full and open portion of the $6 billion E-SITE procurement vehicle in July 2015.
