General Dynamics™ (NYSE: GD) Bath Iron Works subsidiary has received a potential five-year, $719M contract to extend planning yard services for the U.S. Navy™s Arleigh Burke-class guided missile destroyers.
The contract has a one-year base value of $126M and covers DDG 51 logistics, design, material kitting, planning and execution support, the company said Monday.
Bath Iron Works will perform majority of the services in Maine.
The business also supports the military branch in post-delivery modernization and maintenance of DDG 1000 destroyers and Littoral Combat Ships.
