General Dynamics Subsidiary Wins $847M Contract for Navy Aircraft Carrier Maintenance Services

A General Dynamics (NYSE: GD) subsidiary has won a seven-year, $847.3 million contract to help the U.S. Navy sustain and maintain aircraft carriers operating in the Mid-Atlantic region.

General Dynamics NASSCO will support scheduled availabilities for the chief of naval operations, continuous maintenance, pre-refueling complex overhaul and ship terminal offload program activities under the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract, the Department of Defense said Friday.

The Pentagon expects NASSCO to complete repair and modernization efforts by April 2030.

Naval Sea Systems Command facilitated a competitive solicitation process for the procurement of services and the service branch plans to obligate funds upon the issuance of individual orders.
