General Dynamics (NYSE: GD) has received a $329 million contract modification to help the U.S. Army update the service branch’s fleet of Stryker infantry carrier vehicles.
The company will produce, test and deliver Stryker 30mm lethality systems under the contract awarded by the Warren, Michigan-based Army Contracting Command, the Defense Departmentsaid Friday.
General Dynamics will perform work under the modification through Jan. 15, 2021, at a company facility in Sterling Heights, Michigan.
The Army Contracting Command obligated $105.1 million in fiscal year 2016 research, development, testing and evaluation funds at the time of the award.
