A managed affiliate of General Dynamics‘ (NYSE: GD) information technology segment has received a potential $208M contract to provide new technology and support services to the Department of Education.
SRA International was awarded the Portfolio of Integrated Value-Oriented Technologies-Integration contract that has a six-month base period, five option years and an additional two award terms, General Dynamics said Tuesday.
Gil Dussek, vice president of the federal civilian division at General Dynamics Information Technology, said the business will integrate methods and tools to help simplify the department’s technical processes.
GDIT also intends to provide end-user support, unified communications, engineering, infrastructure oversight and monitoring support services under the contract.
The business aims to offer the department situational awareness of IT enterprise tasks that include status reporting, resource utilization and security incident management
