General Dynamics’ (NYSE: GD) land systems business has received a potential five-year, $145.5 million contract from the Defense Logistics Agency to provide spare parts for several combat vehicles.
The spare parts are intended for the U.S. Army’s Abrams main battle tanks, Stryker family of vehicles, Buffalo, Cougar, RG-31 and family of light armored vehicles, the Department of Defense said Wednesday.
Work on the firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/definite-quantity contract will occur in Florida.
DLA is the contracting activity and will fund the sole-source contract using Army working capital funds from fiscal year 2022 through FY 2027.
The agency expects delivery on the contract to be completed on July 29, 2029.
