General Atomics Demos Dynetics-Built Munition in Unmanned Aircraft Flight Test

General Atomics™ aeronautical systems business tested a Dynetics-built small glide munition aboard a long-range variant of the MQ-1C Gray Eagle unmanned aircraft system during a flight demonstration at a military test range in California.

The GBU-69B lightweight munition works to defeat threats in multi-domain environments and reach extended distances at maximum altitude, General Atomics said Thursday.

David Alexander, president of General Atomics™ aeronautical systems business, said the small glide munition will augment Gray Eagle Extended Range’s mission capacities and survivability in austere environments.

GE-ER features an expanded payload capacity and is designed to support system enhancements and future mission tasks.
