GDIT’s Intell Division Gets $580M in Cyber, Software Development Support Contracts; Kelly Ferrell Quoted

A division of General Dynamics’ (NYSE: GD) information technology business has received two contracts worth approximately $580 million for software development and cybersecurity services.

The multiyear contracts awarded to GDIT’s intelligence and homeland security division in April expand the company’s portfolio in cybersecurity, cloud, artificial intelligence and high-performance computing, General Dynamics said Wednesday.

“As the intelligence landscape has become more complex, we have invested in advanced cyber and software development solutions to bring greater agility and speed to our customers’ missions,” said Kelly Ferrell, senior vice president of intelligence and homeland security at GDIT.

“We are looking forward to leveraging these advanced solutions and continuing our more than three decades of support to our government customers,” added Ferrell.

The capabilities to be provided through the contracts will help analysts and policymakers facilitate data synthesis and analysis in support of critical missions.
