GDIT Books $493M SOCOM Task Order for Technical & Mission Support; Brian Sheridan Quoted

A General Dynamics (NYSE: GD) business has secured a potential five-year, $493 million task order to deliver technical and mission support services to the U.S. Special Operations Command.

Under the award, General Dynamics Information Technology said Tuesday it will provide the services to SOCOM and its partners.

Brian Sheridan, senior vice president for defense at GDIT, said, “We are proud of our long-standing partnership with USSOCOM and its partners and look forward to continuing this important work to meet its current and future mission needs.”

The contract includes a one-year base period with four additional option years.

The award was made by the General Services Administration in December 2023.
