Army Contracting Command-Orlando issued the task order to GDIT through the potential five-year, $975 million Mission Training Complex Capabilities Support II indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract awarded in December, the company said Thursday.
GDIT was one of the 12 companies that won spots on the MTCCS II IDIQ contract.
GDIT will leverage a live, virtual and constructive environment to provide collective and individual training to over 200,000 soldiers at the service branch’s III Armored Corps mission training complexes as well as deliver logistical and technical support services through the order.
“For more than 19 years, we have supported the Army’s mission training complexes with integrated training capabilities. We look forward to continuing to provide modern training services to strengthen its operational and warfighting readiness,” said Brian Sheridan, senior vice president of GDIT’s defense division.
