GDIT Lands $98M DISA Contract Modification for Communications Systems Support

General Dynamics Information Technology landed a $98 million contract modification from the Defense Information Systems Agency to continue providing acquisition, integration, installation, operations and maintenance services for communications systems supporting the U.S. Air Forces Central Command, or USAFCENT, deployed missions.

Communications Technical Support Services Bridge Extension

The Department of Defense said Monday the Communications Technical Support Services contract modification, awarded on June 23, extends the ordering period and increases the ceiling value of a previously awarded competitive, single-award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract.

Under the CTSS III contract, the Falls Church, Virginia-based IT services company will continue delivering vital communications support for Air Force personnel in Southwest Asia, serving over 10,000 joint service members and coalition forces. The services includes operations and maintenance support for telephone switch, commercial satellite communications, technical control facility, network administration and installation, high frequency ground radio, commercial, tactical and defense red switch, inside and outside cable plant support, cable TV support services, communications security management, communications planning and engineering, video teleconference technical services, military SATCOM and other Air Force communications squadron functions.

The modification extended the ordering period to Sept. 8, 2026, and increased the contract’s total lifecycle value to $814 million. The Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization at Scott Air Force Base, Illinois, handles the project.
