Gabe Camarillo
Science Applications International Corp. (NYSE: SAIC) has appointed Gabe Camarillo, most recently vice president of strategy, and Josh Jackson, an 18-year company veteran, as senior vice presidents and operations managers within the defense systems group.
Camarillo will succeed the retiring Rick Sabol to oversee SAIC’s Naval Sea and Air Systems operations, while Jackson will be responsible for the Navy and Marine Corps information warfare operation, SAIC said Wednesday.
Both executives will directly report to Jim Scanlon, executive VP and general manager of SAIC’s defense systems group.
Camarillo moved to SAIC in 2017 after seven years at the Department of Defense, where he served as assistant secretary of the U.S. Air Force for manpower and reserve affairs and principal deputy assistant secretary of the U.S. Army for acquisition, logistics and technology. He career included time as a lawyer and as a legislative aide for a congressional member.
Josh Jackson
Jackson has been with SAIC since 2002 and most recently served as head of the company’s solutions and technology group. He previously worked at Northrop Grumman (NYSE: NOC) and held senior engineering and program leadership positions.
