Fulcrum has won a potential five-year, $168.2 million task order to provide strategic planning, research, analysis and training services for the Joint Improvised-Threat Defeat Organization‘s global situational awareness and communities of action missions.
Four offers were submitted to the General Services Administration for the cost-plus-award-fee task order under the Pool 4 category of GSA’s One Acquisition Solution for Integrated ServicesSmall Business contract vehicle, the Defense Departmentsaid Monday.
GSA opened the OASIS SB program to federal customers in June 2014 after the Government Accountability Office and the Court of Federal Claims dismissed protests filed on the professional services contract.
Under the task order, Fulcrum will support JIDO and its military and government partner organizations in efforts to sense, explore and assess the global operational environment to increase combatant commands’ defense against improvised threats through situational awareness and training.
The company will also help JIDO develop strategy, plans and policy related to counter-improvised explosive device operations that involve collaboration with DoD, U.S. allies, academia and industry.
GSA obligated nearly $2 million in joint IED defeat funds at the time of award.
Fulcrum will perform work through Nov. 30, 2021 in Virginia and the National Capital Region.
