The Federal Transit Administration seeks proposals from industry for a potential five-year, $670M contract to provide project management oversight support services for the agency.
FTA plans to issue a multiple-award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract to evaluate the technical capacity, capability and appropriate plans of project sponsors to deliver transit infrastructure projects on schedule and within budget, according to a FedBizOpps notice posted Nov. 17 by the Transportation Department.
FTA defines oversight as a continuous review and evaluation of grantee and FTA processes to ensure compliance with statutory, administrative and regulatory requirements, the document states.
Under the IDIQ, contractors will compete for task orders to provide personnel, supplies, facilities, materials, support and management necessary to support the Project Management Oversight program of DOT and FTA.
The agency expects to issue five awards. Interested parties have until Jan. 3, 2019 to submit proposals to FTA.
