“When we say one team, one fight — industry and our international partners are part of that team,” Kendall, a three-time Wash100 Award winner, said at an air show in the U.K. “As we work together to accelerate change, we want to tap into the intellectual capital and creativity industry brings to the table, and this includes our international partners.”
He stressed the importance of collaboration with international partners when it comes to modernizing capabilities.
“The firms and national programs I’ve seen on this trip impress me, and it gives me confidence that we can work collaboratively across our department and with our allies and partners to prepare for tomorrow’s fight, today,” Kendall said.
Chief of Space Operations Gen. John “Jay” Raymond, a 2022 Wash100 awardee, discussed the integrated deterrence concept at a conference, while Air Force Chief of Staff Gen. Charles “CQ” Brown talked about the “integrated by design” approach and adopting it when it comes to working with allies and partners.
Frank Kendall will keynote the Potomac Officers Club’s 2022 Air Force Summit on Tuesday, July 26. Visit the POC Events page to learn more about the upcoming in-person event.
