Four Contractors Awarded $86M Navy Construction IDIQ Modification

Four companies will continue to support the U.S. Navy‘s contingency construction projects worldwide under an $86M shared contract modification.

The Navy could require contractors to help manage base operations and provide engineering services for natural disaster, humanitarian assistance and conflict response efforts, the Department of Defense said Monday.

AECOM‘s (NYSE: ACM) URS subsidiary, Environmental Chemical Corp., Jacobs Engineering Group‘s (NYSE: JEC) CH2M subsidiary and KBRwyle will perform work under the modification through Feb. 19.

The award brings the total cumulative value of an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract awarded in 2013 to $886M.
