Marc Sosa, formerly vice president of information technology at Serco Group‘s North American subsidiary, has been appointed chief information officer of HII‘s (NYSE: HII) mission technologies division.
He will drive HII Mission Technologies’ enterprise information technology priorities and strategic objectives and guide the division’s overall information systems functions, the company said Thursday.
In his new position, Sosa will report to Chris Soong, HII’s executive vice president and chief information officer, and Andy Green, EVP and president of HII Mission Technologies and a five-time Wash100 awardee.
Sosa held various roles of increasing responsibility during his over 10-year career at Serco Inc., including deputy chief information security officer and director of IT security and operations.
Before that, he was senior service delivery manager at Computer Sciences Corp., a provider of IT products and services to government and intelligence agencies.
