Former SAIC Exec Mike McGovern Named Business Development VP at Day & Zimmermann

Mike McGovern, former vice president at Science Applications International Corp. (NYSE: SAIC), has joined Pennsylvania-based government services provider Day and Zimmermann to serve as VP of business development, G2Xchange FedCiv reported Monday.

McGovern will drive efforts to help Day and Zimmermann grow across defense, intelligence and civilian markets through the company’s service offerings for architecture and engineering, security, staffing as well as operations and maintenance support.

The executive held VP roles for business development operations, sales support and strategy during his time with SAIC. He spearheaded sales across space, civilian, defense and intelligence sectors and led over 165 personnel in his most recent role with the Virginia-based government contractor.

McGovern also spent more than 12 years at Curtiss-Wright Corp., holding multiple positions of increasing responsibilities, including as director of business development

Day and Zimmermann works to deliver global security, critical infrastructure offerings and architecture and engineering services to the U.S. government and commercial clients.
