Keith Conner, formerly the senior director of innovation at Peraton, has joined McLean, Va.-based professional services firm NuWave Solutions as its new chief technology officer.
Conner previously held a senior technical engineer role at the Department of Homeland Security’s Science and Technology Directorate where he helped manage programs in focus areas such as small satellites, data analytics, emergency response and navigation, GovConWire has learned.
He also spent time at BAE Systems, Lucent Technologies Bell Labs Innovation and Technical Solutions in various senior-level technical roles.
He brings to his new role more than two decades of experience contributing to research and development efforts for defense, homeland security, academic and industry applications.
His key areas of expertise include enterprise-wide technology integration, mobile applications, software development, systems engineering, communications networks and information technology.
