Former PAE, Phacil Exec Mehdi Cherqaoui Named Applied Insight CFO

Mehdi Cherqaoui, formerly chief operating officer and chief financial officer of Phacil, has joined Applied Insight as CFO, the Washington Business Journal reported Thursday.

He previously served as VP of finance and mergers and acquisitions at PAE™s VP of finance and mergers and acquisitions. Before that, Cherqaoui held various leadership roles at KPMG, URS and PwC.

Applied Insight also hired Kim Parker, previously director of contracts and subcontracts contracts at Leidos™ (NYSE: LDOS) defense and intelligence group, to oversee contracts, ethics and compliance.

Randy Carr, former VP of talent management at Science Applications International Corp. (NYSE: SAIC), will be responsible for human resources operations.

Former Engility executive Mike Grasso will be SVP of business development and James Rainey, co-founder and former president of ATG, will serve as SVP of intelligence programs at Applied Insight.
