Kim Skvorak, former deputy chief information officer at the National Security Agency, has joined Deep Water Pointas principal of the intelligence community sector team at the Annapolis, Md.-based federal management consulting firm.
She brings more than 25 years of information security planning and forecasting, project management and software and system engineering experience in her new position, Deep Water Point said Thursday.
In her previous role, Skvorak led an Office of the Director of National Intelligence project that aimed to establish an integrated information technology enterprise for the community.
She managed NSA’s global communications, data storage and information security programs as chief of enterprise IT services at the agency.
Before that, she served as director of operations at the England-based Menwith Station and managed a multiagency organization that provided intelligence support to customers in the U.S., U.K. and allied forces.
