Michael Rogers, former director of the National Security Agency and commander of U.S. Cyber Command, has been named chairman of the board of advisers at operational technology security company Claroty.
The retired U.S. Navy admiral will lead a group of business and security professionals to advise Claroty executives and customers on emerging cybersecurity matters, the company said Wednesday.
Rogers, a three-time Wash100 awardee, led the establishment of the country’s Cyber Mission Forces and helped transform Cybercom into a unified combatant command.
He retired from his dual-hatted role and the Navy in June last year after a 37-year career.
New York-based Claroty offers an integrated technology platform designed to help customers detect and respond to network security threats.
