Maxar Technologies (NYSE: MAXR) has appointed Jon Love, former head of public sector partner development at Microsoft (Nasdaq: MSFT), as vice president of strategic growth, responsible for driving company efforts to secure opportunities in the global public sector.
Tony Frazier, executive VP of global field operations at Maxar, said in a LinkedIn post that Love will work with industry partners and customer agencies to help them harness Earth intelligence technology.
Love has more than two decades of experience in executing business growth strategies, nearly three years of which was spent at Microsoft, where he led digital transformation initiatives within the public sector.
His career has also included time as EVP of sales and chief commercial officer at ISS Facility Services' North American arm and as president of Pitney Bowes Government Solutions.
