Margie Graves
Margie Graves, former deputy federal chief information officer, has joined the board of advisers of Reston, Va.-based systems engineering company Brillient.
She will provide input on how to work with the federal government in technology areas such as cloud, data analytics and cybersecurity, Brillient said Monday.
"The most effective partnerships between federal agencies and vendors are predicated on a common understanding of agency missions and the use of current technology approaches to improve the delivery of those missions," Graves noted.
In the Office of the Federal CIO, Graves helped spearhead governmentwide initiatives to transform public service delivery and supported information technology goals on the President's Management Agenda.
She previously worked at the Department of Homeland Security as deputy CIO and led its enterprise business management office as executive director.
Her industry career included 10 years at consulting firm A.T. Kearney.
