Daniel Donovan, formerly a vice president at Dell Technologies (NYSE: DELL), has joined SentinelOne to serve as VP of Americas sales and lead the autonomous cybersecurity platform company’s U.S. sales to federal, state and local government clients and commercial customers.
SentinelOne said Tuesday Donovan’s new responsibilities will include scaling multiple market segments for the sales of the company’s XDR product, which uses artificial intelligence to protect systems from ransomware attacks and other cyber threats.
Donovan brings over two decades of executive sales experience in the information technology and cybersecurity markets.
During his time with Dell’s North American software business, he led sales and market consolidation efforts that helped the company manage and consolidate multiple market segments, including commercial, global, federal and enterprise.
