Bill Toti, former president of the global defense segment at Cubic Corp. (NYSE: CUB), has joined Hewlett Packard Enterprise (NYSE: HPE) as vice president for defense and homeland security, GovCon Wire has learned.
He will oversee HPE’s work with the departments of Defense, Homeland Security, Justice and State in his new position.
Toti,  an inductee into Executive Mosaic‘s Wash100 for 2016, previously led the Cubic Global Defense organization that was established in February 2015 to consolidate the San Diego-based contractor’s defense systems and mission support services units as part of a business realignment effort.
He served as VP and Navy–Marine Corps account executive at Hewlett-Packard‘s enterprise services division for three years before he moved to Cubic in June 2014 as corporate vice president and head of mission support services.
Prior to HP, he worked in VP roles at Raytheon (NYSE: RTN) from April 2006 to January 2011.
He is also a former federal executive fellow at the Brookings Institution and served for 26 years in the U.S. Navy.
