Eric Ritter, former vice president for consulting services at Cognosante, took on a new role at Maximus (NYSE: MMS) as vice president of business development, FedHealth IT reported Tuesday.
In his more recent capacity, he was responsible for profit and loss, management and operational functions for Cognosante’s federal health technology business.
He previously worked as assistant vice president of the global public sector practice at Cognizant and steered the IT provider through its entry into the U.S. government market, according to his LinkedIn.
His industry career also includes various roles at Optum, BearingPoint, Level 3 Communications, Deloitte, Verizon’s (NYSE: VZ) business division.
