Tom Hohman, former senior vice president and chief financial officer at Cognosante, has joined information technology services provider Trowbridge & Trowbidge as its new CFO.
The 15-year finance professional led strategic acquisitions and infrastructure development at Cognosante as part of his most recent capacity, Trowbridge said Monday.
He also held the CFO post at medical software provider Compressus and other nonprofit entities. Earlier in his career, Hohman worked as a manager for Ernst & Young.
Trowbridge is headquartered in McLean, Va., and aims to grow its work as a technical partner in federal civilian, defense and intelligence missions.
Hohman holds a bachelors degree in accounting from University of Richmond and a masters degree in finance from George Washington University.
