Ed Jopeck, former senior adviser at the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency, was named director of business consulting at CGI‘s (NYSE: GIB) federal business arm, according to his recent LinkedIn announcement.
Jopeck joined CGI Federal in October 2021 as a director and consulting expert. Before that, he was with CISA for over a year, leading the Risk Analysis & Risk Management Cell of its Covid-19 Task Force and the National Risk Management Center’s Covid-19 Incident Response Analysis Cell.
His government career also includes time serving as security analyst, senior intelligence analyst or counterintelligence analyst at the CIA for nearly seven years.
In addition, Jopeck previously worked as senior program manager at Battelle, vice president of federal gunshot detection programs at ShotSpotter and director of homeland security risk management at SRA International.
