Former Blue Origin VP Clay Mowry Joins Voyager Space as Chief Revenue Officer

Clay Mowry, former vice president of global sales at Blue Origin, has been named chief revenue officer of Denver-based space exploration company Voyager Space.

The 25-year industry veteran will oversee Voyager’s revenue and sales operations, including those of its subsidiaries, the company said Monday.

Mowry previously led Arianespace‘s U.S. subsidiary for 15 years and holds the chairman emeritus designation at the Future Space Leaders Foundation.

He was elected in November to serve as the International Astronautical Federation’s next president.

His appointment comes after Voyager’s move to acquire a majority stake in San Diego-based satellite technology developer Space Micro.

Voyager will also collaborate with Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) and Nanoracks to build a commercial space station for NASA under a $160 million contract.
