Robert Ferrell
Robert Ferrell, a retired U.S. Army lieutenant general, has joined World Wide Technology as vice president of federal strategy.
Bryan Thomas, VP of federal sales at WWT, said in a statement published Monday Ferrell will become a member of WWTs federal leadership team and support the company in its innovation and execution efforts.
Ferrell is a 38-year military veteran who previously served as Armys chief information officer responsible for the service branchs command, control, communications and computers and information technology functions.
He also held the roles of commander of the Communications-Electronics Command and director of communications during his nearly four-decade career in the Army.
St. Louis, Missouri-based WWT is a government IT services contractor that holds spots on several contract vehicles such as the General Services Administration‘s Federal Supply Schedule and NASAs Solutions for Enterprise-Wide Procurement V contracts.
