Kennedy has more than three decades of government contracting experience and he will oversee the Edgewater’s finance and accounting departments in his new role, the company said Monday.
He most recently managed the overall finance functions at Amentum and supported the spinoff of AECOM’s management services division after the business’ $2.4 billion sale to affiliates of private equity firms Lindsay Goldberg and American Securities in February 2020.
His career also included time as corporate controller at EG&G Technical Services, divisional senior VP of finance at URS, and accounting and finance roles at Litton’s PRC division.
Kennedy started his career at professional services firm EY.
