Steve Hamric, former executive vice president and chief financial officer of information technology services provider 1901 Group, has been appointed CFO at Falls Church, Virginia-based health IT company Cognosante.
The company said Monday Hamric brings more than two decades of financial leadership experience to his new position and is Cognosante’s replacement for Kevin Mostek, who was tapped to oversee the new corporate development team.
Hamric will be responsible for leading Cognosante’s finance organization, supporting the company mission and contributing to its overall growth strategy.
Prior to joining 1901 Group in May 2020, he served in the same role at TeraThink for more than two years. His career in the government contracting sector also includes time at iGov and Athena Technologies holding CFO posts.
