Fedstack has secured a prime government-wide acquisition contract under the General Services Administration’s Multiple Award Schedule to provide professional IT services. The award comes with up to 20 years of work, including a five-year base with three five-year extension options, the technology consulting and solutions provider said.
Fedstack Lands Major Government Contract
It marks the company’s first prime GWAC vehicle on the GSA schedule.
Chris Coligado, executive vice president at Fedstack, attributed the milestone to the company’s effort to scale its operations and expand offerings. The McLean, Virginia-based firm has moved toward consulting services, managing its own contracts and deliverables and working directly with government customers.
“As the prime bidder, we no longer have to rely solely on other firms to choose us as a subcontractor, we can control every aspect of the process,” commented the executive. “And, we can do this while saving the government agencies money, as we’re a proven provider that can offer efficiency and cost savings by eliminating any middlemen markups.”
The MAS is the federal government’s largest contracting vehicle with $50.3 billion in sales awarded in fiscal 2024.
Coligado noted that the GSA opportunity follows President Donald Trump’s executive order issued in March to consolidate federal procurement for common goods and services in the GSA to reduce waste and inefficiencies.
