The FBI has awarded a pair of multiple-award contracts worth a combined $137.5M for architectural, engineering and planning services for the bureau’s construction projects within and outside continental U.S.
Eight companies will vie for task orders to provide the services throughout the FBI’s region under an $87.5M indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract and six firms will compete to perform tasks within region 2 under a $50M IDIQ, according to an award notice posted Tuesday on FedBizOpps.

Jacobs Engineering Group (NYSE: JEC) secured positions on both contracts, which have a one-year base period and four one-year options.
Work encompasses advanced planning and engineering studies, conceptual designs, cost estimating, surveys, environmental impact assessments, building commissioning construction phase support and on-site professional staff at FBI offices.
