Aloha McBride, a more than two-decade health and government market veteran, has been named global health leader at professional services firm EY in a move slated to take effect July 1.
McBride. who succeeds the retiring David Roberts, will lead efforts to grow health science and wellness service offerings and help drive “smart hospital” initiatives as part of her new duties, the company said Monday.
In her current role as EY’s global health advisory leader, she leads its U.S. government and public sector health services and sponsors the company’s collaborative relationship with Johns Hopkins University.
Pamela Spence, global health sciences and wellness leader at EY, said McBride’s appointment comes as the company seeks to help clients apply data to create personalized care and manage patient outcomes.
McBride previously spent 10 years as EY’s federal health sector leader and held a senior consultant role at the company from 1997 to 1999. She also served in a similar consultant position at Deloitte’s consulting arm earlier in her career.
